Fortville Bastille Day 2012

Six Feet Up is pleased to be one of the main organizers and sponsors of the 3rd annual Fortville Bastille Day.

This year's celebration of the French National Day will keep participants entertained in a very Parisian atmosphere thanks to French music, a live French singer, a traditional "Jeu de l'oie" or "Goose Game", several marionette shows, a giant bounce house brought by the Salvation Army, a wine and beer tasting booth, a pétanque tournament (a very popular ball game in France), fire and police department demonstrations, and art and craft vendors. Children will make candlelight lanterns for the traditional lantern procession at dusk. Finally, at 10 pm, the event's signature laser light show will delight both kids and adults.

Fortville Bastille Day is a free family event for anybody interested in experiencing a bit of French culture and "joie de vivre" right in the heart of Indiana.
