Six Feet Up is expanding its leadership team. Mike Krisher joins as Vice President of Technology, a newly created role focused on technical strategy, engineering operations, architecture, and security.
Mike brings 30+ years of experience across full-stack software development, data engineering, and platform architecture. He has led engineering organizations through rapid growth and complex modernization efforts, including Nike’s move to real-time data processing. His background spans startups, mid-sized companies, enterprises, and consulting.
“We’re growing and looking for experienced engineers who are also great consultants," said Gabrielle Hendryx-Parker, CEO of Six Feet Up. “Mike has scaled engineering teams at companies of every size. He'll help our senior team take on bigger challenges while delivering secure software that lasts.”
As a member of the leadership team, Mike will shape Six Feet Up’s technical direction, guide architectural decisions, define engineering standards, and strengthen delivery practices. He’ll also help the team evaluate new technologies as client needs evolve.
For clients, that means stronger technical leadership, robust and secure solutions, and the expertise and capacity to tackle increasingly complex challenges.
Mike's connection to Six Feet Up goes back to college, when he met CTO and co-founder Calvin Hendryx-Parker. In the early 2000s, Six Feet Up also hosted several of Mike's personal and freelance websites.
One of Mike's favorite quotes comes from writer Fran Lebowitz: "Think before you speak, read before you think." It’s a fitting approach for a role built on careful technical judgment.
