Six Feet Up's Director of Business Development Carol Ganz said she felt honored to have been elected as member of the Foundation Board of Directors. "This is great time in the history of Plone," Ganz explained, "Plone's 10th anniversary this year shows that an open source community can maintain a vibrant and growing content management system. The fact that 2/3rd of this year's board has never served before points to an expansion and introduction of new blood, which is a powerful indicator that the Plone development community is vibrant and growing as well."
Carol Ganz follows in Six Feet Up's CTO Calvin Hendryx-Parker's steps who was elected as President of the Plone Foundation in 2010. "I think the new board has already established their willingness to change and push boundaries in our first meeting. I also think the members will be pleased with what they see from us in terms of transparency and a willingness to listen to new ideas," said Ganz.
