Six Feet Up is proud to be a Participating Sponsor of both PyCon US 2026 and the Python Software Foundation (PSF), investing in the people, projects, and open source infrastructure that keep Python strong.
Held May 13–19 in Long Beach, California, PyCon US brings together core developers and maintainers, first-time attendees, community organizers, and everyone in between.
Supporting PyCon US and the PSF is one way we show up for fellow Pythonistas and give back to the ecosystem that has long been central to our work.
Six Feet Up was founded with Python at its core.
Since 1999, we’ve chosen Python for its clarity, versatility, and staying power across software, AI, and data-driven systems. Our commitment, though, is not only to the language. It’s also to the people behind it.
The Python community is collaborative, inclusive, and deeply rooted in open source. Those values align closely with our own. PyCon US brings them into focus, creating space for Pythonistas to learn, teach, contribute, reconnect, and welcome new voices. It also plays an important role in the PSF's mission to grow a diverse, global Python community.
The PSF’s work reaches far beyond PyCon US. It helps sustain Python infrastructure, support regional events and local communities, and provide grants that lower barriers to participation.
Open source ecosystems do not thrive on code alone. They grow through shared effort, long-term stewardship, and a culture of giving back.
