Six Feet Up — a Python and cloud expert consulting company that helps organizations build apps faster, innovate with AI, simplify Big Data and leverage Cloud technology — is proud to announce that Carol Ganz, Vice President of Sales, and Jen Myers, Vice President of Finance, have been elected to the Django Events Foundation North America (DEFNA) 2021 board as a Director and Treasurer, respectively.

Ganz, Vice President of Sales at Six Feet Up and DEFNA Director, is a highly organized and effective leader who strives to get the best out of people. A very personable and empathetic team player, she loves getting involved in community events. Ganz is stoked to contribute to advancing the DEFNA mission. When she’s not working, she likes to spend time hanging out with her family, working in the yard and volunteering at the community theater.
ABOUT JEN MYERS:
Myers, Vice President of Finance at Six Feet Up and DEFNA Treasurer, is a detailed, organized and competent leader who brings 24+ years of financial experience to the Board. She has worn many different hats during her career, giving her valuable skills to contribute to DEFNA and progressing their mission. When not working, you can find Myers watching her daughter playing soccer or her son swimming at the natatorium, spending time with her daughter at college, hanging out with friends, watching live music or planning that next getaway with her hubby.
ABOUT THE DEFNA BOARD:
Django Events Foundation North America (DEFNA) is a non-profit based in California USA. It was formed in 2015 at the request of the Django Software Foundation (DSF) to run DjangoCon US. The DSF have licensed DEFNA to run DjangoCon US for 2015-2022. Beyond DjangoCon US, the board is also involved with other North American events covering the education and outreach of Django.
