Six Feet Up Launches Striking New Website for the Aluminum Transportation Group

October 5, 2012

Six Feet Up recently launched a shiny new website for the Aluminum Association’s Aluminum Transportation Group (ATG) at DriveAluminum.org.

ATG's mission is to communicate the benefits of aluminum in transportation applications to help accelerate its penetration through research programs and related outreach activities. They serve member companies and act as a central resource for the automotive and commercial vehicle industries on aluminum issues.

The new DriveAluminum site was built to improve their visibility and impact on the web and put social media front and center. This included featuring their Twitter, YouTube and Facebook content and a highly visible news section to get their message out to the public. Six Feet Up developed customized news and press release types to help ATG to present their content in a very visual and easy to find manner.

The website was built using the open source Content Management System Plone.

DriveAluminum.org was yet another successful collaboration between Six Feet Up strategic communications consultancy Stratacomm.

"Working with a trusted partner makes projects run smoother and keeps everyone focused on the product instead of the process. From build through launch, Six Feet Up worked as a seamless extension of our team to help us deliver DriveAluminum.org for our client," said John Fitzpatrick, Executive Vice President and Senior Partner at Stratacomm.
