IndyAWS: Security in AWS

Agenda:

12:00p - 12:10p Introductions/Order Food

12:10p - 12:40p Presentation with Scott Johnson

"AWS Security 101"

Security in the cloud seems like it should be easy but security is always dicey.  In this presentation, Scott will walk thru the basics of security for EC2 instances and talk about how a single mistake spiked his last company's bill by 2.5x -- overnight.  Along the way he'll cover why you really, really want a VPN even though VPN's actually suck.  He'll also talk about the role that a tool like Ansible plays in security.

12:40p - 12:50p Q&A

12:50p - 1:00p Networking/Pay your Bill
