Do you feel underpaid? Or ever worked overtime because Sales over promises to the customer? Or ever heard colleagues muttering about management? Or the C-Suite?
These all have a common root... fear. Fear of uncertainty. Fear of confrontation. And ultimately, fear of your own infinite potential. Join us in a highly interactive workshop in which you learn to increase your income, self-respect, and free-time.
This is our Advanced Python talk by a field expert. Our featured speaker will be:
"Amazon Echo and the Python Flask Ask library", by: Josh Knox, The Kinney Group
Amazon's Echo device has become as common in the household as the coffeemaker and the toaster. The Echo can be used to tell you the weather forecast for the day, play your favorite song or even be the trigger mechanism for your home automation devices but have you considered using the Echo in the work environment. What if the Echo could report to you the health of your data center components or return the results of an API call from the software you are using in your environment? In this talk we will show you how to use AWS and the flask-ask Alexa Skills Kit for Python to build your own custom Alexa skills and how it can be used to interface with the software running in your data center.
