Plone Conference 2011

The annual event attracts over 350 Plone developers and integrators from
all over the world, for three days of presentations and events. Six Feet Up will be attending, and CTO Calvin Hendryx-Parker will be leading the Annual Foundation Membership Meeting helding during the conference.

The conference will be preceded by two days of training classes and followed by two days of sprints. In addition to the traditional presentation topics, this year's conference will add a "related technologies" track with heavy emphasis on Pyramid and WSGI
application development and a full track of Open Space talks happening throughout the conference.

This
training session includes front-end design of a Plone 4.0 site from
start to finish using two methods: Traditional Plone theming, and using
plone.app.theming. The training will be a hands-on, introductory
walk-through of the process, using a pre-created sample design.
Attendees will need their computers and will be expected to follow along
on their own local instances.
