Plone Conference 2013

Plone Conference is the main globally recognized event for the
community, developers, managers, government agencies, educational
institutions, students and everyone interested in learning more about
Plone.

This year the Conference will have two days of training sessions, two
days of sprint in Brasília, besides open spaces and lightning talks
distributed in three days of conference.

The Conference

It will have 4 tracks simultaneously – except for keynotes and the
State of Plone which will have no competition – and, following the steps
of EuroPython, one of them will be held in Portuguese and another one
will be in English with translation to Portuguese.

Training

We will offer a considerable number of training sessions as a way to
appeal to our local community. It is a known fact that most of our
developers are not proficient English speakers. We so intend to have a
Portuguese speaker assistant/monitor in all training sessions given in
English.

Sprints

It is the main opportunity to get involved with the technology and
help to create and improve solutions. Sprints are a great tradition of
the community. We have reserved 2 days post conference for sprints in
Brasilia and plan to break records of attendance from both veterans and
new developers. Special teams will be set to make newcomers feel at
home.
