ISKME/Six Feet Up Unveil New Beta Site at Open Education Conference

July 24, 2007

The Institute for the Study of Knowledge Management in Education (ISKME) and Six Feet Up unveiled today the new Beta version of their Open Educational Resources (OER) site, OER Commons, that strives to expand educational opportunities by offering new ways to find, use, and enhance OER across institutions and collections, so that these materials are not just more accessible, but also more useful to students, instructors, and self-learners. ISKME will present the new site to conference participants, and demo it throughout the three-day "Open Content and Education Conference":http://cosl.usu.edu/conferences/opened2006/program in Utah. A public release of the site will be available in late Fall.
