The fourth annual Plone Conference was held October 25-27 in Seattle, Washington, USA and counted 350 conference attendees. Six Feet Up's Director of Engineering Calvin Hendryx-Parker gave a talk on "Enabling the Semantic Web and RDF in Plone". Hendryx-Parker introduced the RDF concept, provided sample ontology concepts, explaned why RDF addresses many relational database shortcomings and presented an example of a live implementation.
