The Long Now Foundation and Six Feet Up are pleased to announce the availability of community tools in the Rosetta Project Digital Language Archive. Users can now discuss any language or resource in the collection. Every language in the Archive has an associated discussion forum that visitors can access by logging in and creating a member page. Member pages and discussion forums allow visitors to find others who share their interests. The site also features language discussion boards encouraging visitors to use their languages online, and share language learning and teaching experiences. A feature for commenting on individual items was also built in the archive (like a print grammar, or an audio recording). Since everyone can access the notes, The Long Now Foundation is expecting it to be a place where visitors can work with others to build knowledge about particular materials in the Archive.
