Amtrak's History Website Undergoes Facelift

May 22, 2012

Six Feet Up is pleased to announce the Amtrak History of America's Railroad website has a new look.

Designed by Stratacomm, a full-service strategic communications firm located in Washington, D.C., the website was in need for an update following Amtrak's celebration campaign for the company's 40th Anniversary.

Six Feet Up was tasked to implement the new look, replace old data with fresher images and content, and roll out changes that promote blog posts to visitors.

"Having Plone core contributors in the team really helped when we ran into a backend issue", said Michelle Jarvi, Six Feet Up Account Manager on the Amtrak History project. "Our developers have such a deep understanding of the CMS, they were able to quickly investigate and propose recommendations to address the problem, therefore helping the team meet the client's deadlines."
