The 12th edition of the DjangoCon Europe Conference was held on September 18 and 19, 2020. This year the event, which brings together Django practitioners from all walks of life and from all over the world, was held on Six Feet Up's new virtual event platform LoudSwarm.
Every year DjangoCon Europe brings together some of the most vibrant voices from the Django Community in Europe and around the world. This year the event, which was planned to take place in Porto, was moved online amidst the unprecedented times of the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to maintain the same level of togetherness, and the high-quality discussions that happen spontaneously at these events, the event organizers chose the LoudSwarm platform to power DjangoCon Europe.
The conference was celebrated successfully with 24 talks and 2 amazing keynote presentations by Carina C. Zona, and Luis Roque. LoudSwarm's integration of Zoom calls, pre-recorded content, and Slack chat, as well as breakout rooms and question galleries allowed attendees to get the full DjangoCon experience.
