The Open Society Institute (OSI), a private operating and grantmaking foundation, aims to shape public policy to promote democratic governance, human rights, and economic, legal, and social reform.
OSI has been leading the KARL development efforts since 2005. KARL is an open source knowledge management system that provides resource organization features through online communities and offices. It allows its users to easily organize, share, and use their information with tightly integrated tools.
Six Feet Up, Inc. has been selected by OSI to provide hosting services for their KARL production and staging instances. "We are extremely proud that OSI chose Six Feet Up to host their mission-critical application as it is a testimonial to the quality of our Hosting infrastructure and support," says Six Feet Up CTO Calvin Hendryx-Parker.
