Few industries are facing the level of change that healthcare is undergoing today. Six Feet Up has successfully launched a number of healthcare projects in the last few years. In the process we have learned a lot about public websites for healthcare as well as creating powerful web applications for use inside large healthcare businesses. Of particular interest to us is the trend in the industry toward open source solutions that enable information sharing between systems which is being mandated by new regulations and requirements.
Six Feet Up will be attending and exhibiting at the 15th annual Healthcare Internet Conference, held at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes in Orlando, FL November 7-9 of 2011. In addition to showcasing our health-related development to leaders in the healthcare industry, we'll be meeting with some of the other leading experts on effectively using the internet in healthcare.
Long recognized as the leading conference on Internet technology and marketing in healthcare, this conference features five keynote sessions, 38 concurrent case study sessions, and two pre-conference bootcamp workshops. It offers executives from throughout the healthcare industry a chance to see what's new in web and mobile technologies, hear case studies on innovative solutions, see patient and physician communications solutions and learn best practices on a wide range of topics from the best in the industry. The conference is organized by Greystone.net.
Calvin Hendryx-Parker and Lauren Edwards will be demonstrating some of Six Feet Up's work for healthcare clients, including the University of Virginia Health System, Basilea Pharmaceutica, Ltd, Club Red and others. They'll also be showing off tools and techniques such as Plone and KARL which can streamline the development of websites and web-based systems for the internet and company intranets.
If you're attending the conference, come by and visit us at Booth 23 in the Exhibitor's Hall to find out more about the work Six Feet Up has done in healthcare, as well as how we can help you make better use of the web.
